Disparate Elements No. 3

About the Authors
Jennifer Whalen is Texas State University’s 2015-2016 writer-in-residence at the L.D. and Laverne Harrell Clark House in Smithville, Texas. She served as the poetry editor for Front Porch, and her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Day One, Gulf Coast, and elsewhere. She co-hosts the reading series Everything Is Bigger in Austin, Texas.
Andrews Sullivan attended University of Pennsylvania and worked as a booktrader before attending Hollins University’s Creative Writing Program. He’s the managing editor of Fjords Review and directs C&R Press.
John Gosslee founded and edits Fjords Review. He also edits PANK and directs C&R Press. His poetry appears in Yale Review, Poetry Ireland, Saint Ann’s Review and many other places. His latest cross-discipline book on poetry is Blitzkrieg.
Patrick Ryan Frank is the author of the poetry collections The Opposite of People and How the Losers Love What’s Lost, both from Four Way Books. He studied poetry at Northwestern University, Boston University, and the James A. Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas. Though a recent Fulbright Fellow to Iceland, he grew up in front of a small TV in rural Michigan.
