Zoë Miller Reading at Malvern Books
fields is happy to announce that one of our authors from issue 2, Zoë Miller, will be reading this evening at Malvern Books. She will be reading alongside Sam Snoek-Brown, a Portland-based author whose latest book, the novel Hagridden, was released yesterday by Columbus Press.
Miller studied at the New School, where she was a Riggio Honors Fellow, and received her MFA from the University of Minnesota. Her work has appeared in 12th Street and Front Porch, and you can read her short story, "Wish Sandwiches," in our second issue, which will be available for purchase at the reading.
We at fields would like to thank Wendy M. Walker at The Austin Review for so graciously inviting us to participate in this event, and we would like to thank Malvern Books for hosting. Ms. Miller has only recently moved to Austin, and we look forward to giving her a proper welcome to the local lit scene. The event starts at 7 pm, and more information can be found here. We hope to see you there!
