TBF Loves Indies

fields is happy to announce that we will be participating in the Texas Book Festival’s “TBF <s Indies” event at the new Cheer Up Charlie’s, opening at the old Club DeVille spot at 900 Red River. We will be tabling with other great local presses and publications, including A Strange Object, Unstuck Books, The Austin Review, Write Bloody Publishing, American Short Fiction, Foxing Quarterly, and Slagdrop. We’ll have our last five (!) copies available for sale, so if you’re still waiting to pick up a copy of issue 1 (which includes a profile of Write Bloody’s Derrick Brown, along with other great interviews and new work), you can get one on discount at the event. There will also be a raffle and drink specials going on, and we’ll be hawking some pins and maybe even a tote bag or two, if you’re into that sort of thing. We hope to see you there!
